Tips to Glowing Skin

  1. Find the Right Cleanser

  • For oily skin, opt for a gel with ingredients like tea tree oil or witch hazel, which help control excess oil and unclog pores. Avoid heavy oils, like coconut oil, as they may make the problem worse.

  • For dry skin, opt for a cream or lotion based cleanser with hydrating ingredients such as shea butter and aloe vera, which nourish the skin while cleansing. Stay away from harsh foaming cleansers or those containing alcohol, as these can strip your skin of natural oils.

  • For combination skin, opt for a balancing cleanser that isn’t overly drying or too hydrating. Gentle ingredients like aloe vera or green tea work well to keep your skin balanced.

  • For sensitive skin, opt for fragrance free and hypoallergenic cleansers with soothing ingredients like chamomile, calendula, or oatmeal. These options can help calm irritation and avoid triggering reactions. Avoid harsh scrubs, sulfates, and products with heavy fragrances.

  • For acne-prone skin, opt for cleansers that include tea tree oil or green tea. These ingredients target breakouts while keeping your pores clear. Avoid abrasive scrubs or thick creams that may clog pores.

Don't over cleanse and avoid hot water as it can dry out and irritate your skin

2. Moisturise and Facial Massage

Moisterising is essential for locking in hydration and maintaining your skin’s natural barrier, leaving it soft and healthy. Pairing it with a gentle facial massage boosts circulation, enhances absorption of your skincare products, and promotes a radiant glow. Just a few minutes of upward, circular motions and tapping lightly on your skin can reduce puffiness and relieve tension, giving your skin the TLC it deserves.

3. Sun Protection

Whether it's a broad spectrum SPF, a hat, or just seeking shade as much as possible, these all help prevent dark spots and premature aging.

4. Hydration

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin plump and moisterised.

5. Stay Active

Even if it's a short walk, exercise increases blood circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to your skin for a healthy and radiant complexion

6. Eat Healthily

Cut down on processed food and products that are high in salt and sugar. Incorporate more fruit and vegetables and foods that are vitamin rich, such as berries, spinach and nuts.

7. Relax and De Stress

Chronic stress can affect your skin. This can be difficult as everyone's life journey is different. You can practice mindfulness or meditation. Save affirmations as a screen saver to remind you to stay positive and practice mindfulness or meditation.

8. Get Your Beauty Sleep

Sleep is when your body repairs itself! Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night for a refreshed glow!
